You rely on your hands every single day to perform important tasks. Not only can our hands become stiff as we age, injuries and accidents can cause us to lose functionality in our fingers, hands, and arms. Our certified hand therapists at Manual Orthopedic Physical Therapy can help you address these concerns.
Our hand therapy program begins with a 60-minute evaluation that provides us with plenty of time to examine each patient and provide you with a collaborative treatment plan. During this meeting, you will receive individualized goals based on your unique needs, as well as a home exercise program that is tailored just for you.
Subsequent treatment sessions include 30 minutes of hands-on time with a certified hand therapist or occupational therapist, followed by a therapeutic exercise program that integrates current techniques and modalities that are supported by evidence-based research to help you achieve your goals.
Our skilled hand therapy team can advise and provide you with proper custom orthoses or prefabricated splints for the upper extremity to compliment your treatment plan.
Manual Orthopedic Physical Therapy can customize a hand therapy treatment plan just for you with three convenient locations in Eastlake, Rancho Del Rey, and East County.
