Michael Eaton

MichaelBio 200x300 Michael EatonMichael Eaton is a physical therapist at our Eastlake location and is a native San Diegan who grew up in El Cajon. He graduated from San Diego State University in 2013 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Athletic Training. He then worked as an athletic trainer for one year before attaining his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine in 2016. Michael is an empathetic therapist who has experience in managing chronic pain, enhancing movement quality, and improving posture; leading his patient’s to a more efficient and healthier life. He is interested in learning all different schools of thought regarding physical therapy, implementing what works best with manual skill sets. He has experience in various work settings from acute care, skilled nursing, outpatient orthopedics, athletic training facilities, and an internship with the team formerly known as the San Diego Chargers. Michael ran track and field in community college where he specialized in the 110- meter hurdles, before injuries halted his collegiate career. His proneness for injury has given Michael experience from the patient’s perspective for muscle tears, broken bones, joint sprains, cartilage damage, and pre/post surgical rehabilitation. Michael likes participating in football and baseball leagues, loves the Padres, and enjoys hiking and being outdoors.
