Danielle Woodworth graduated with a Master of Occupational Therapy from the University of Southern California in 2013. She then moved to San Diego hoping to pursue a career in hand therapy and joined Manual Orthopedic Physical Therapy in 2014. Later that year she also joined the hand therapy rehabilitation department of a major healthcare system in San Diego, where she had the opportunity to work with a broad spectrum of doctors, therapist and patients.

At MOPT Danielle has been excited to help to expand the hand therapy team. She values helping her patients return to the activities and passions they enjoy, and adapting her treatment to their circumstances and needs. After several years of treating in hand therapy settings, Danielle recently qualified to take, and passed, a rigorous board certification exam to become a Certified Hand Therapist.

Currently, Danielle enjoys working with complex trauma patients as well as addressing the ergonomics of her patients to help them prevent additional injuries. She is also improving her Spanish fluency to better serve her patients. She is a member of the San Diego Hand Therapy Special Interest Group and enjoys furthering her skills through continuing education courses. In her free time, Danielle enjoys cooking for friends and family and practicing calligraphy.
