Colleen Sanders

Mount St. Mary’s University in Los Angeles. Prior to that, she completed
her Master’s Degree in Exercise Physiology at San Diego State in 1994 and
her Bachelor’s in Biology at University of California, San Diego in 1991.
She has 20 years of experience working in both the orthopedic and home
health physical therapy settings. She joined the MOPT staff in 2014.

Colleen has a passion for health, fitness and the complexity of the human
body which was ignited when she began teaching fitness classes in 1985.
She enjoys the manual therapy approach to treating movement dysfunction
and loves the challenge of problem solving biomechanical issues to promote
long lasting results.

In addition to working for MOPT, Colleen is an Adjunct Professor at Mesa
Community College teaching Therapeutic Exercise and Orthopedic Patient Management in the Physical Therapist Assistant Program.

Colleen resides in San Diego with her husband and 4 children. She is enjoys distance running, dancing, reading and spending time with her family.
